The transforming of these pieces creates a metamorphosis of nature and being - the nymph/fairy warrior style is part of an artist's book series. Objects collection, connected and transformed.

In the series “Echos” I combine the ideas of a future evolved and contorted, of naturally grown forms with an artificial twist, ‘Echos’ of what humans used to be and what nature has taken back. Creating hybrids and transformations, which appear authentic, giving a pretense that the original object still exists and can be recognized.

Cracks, joints, and bulbous forms grant true "insights" and expose the seemingly abstract forms as body parts. The interwoven structures resemble a network, in which everything is interconnected, even elements that actually do not fit into the natural context.

Precisely in this way, new levels of meaning are created. "Identity" arises through such connections and brings forth the freedom to engage in the unknown.

The story unfolds with and without words, we see, recognise, and feel connections to the pieces.
